DigitalShift started out in 2009 building websites for various sports organizations. We started out with inline hockey organizations as we already had some close contacts. Some of our first clients were the British Columbia Inline Hockey Association (BCIHA), the Ontario Minor Roller Hockey Association (OMRHA) and the National Inline Hockey Association (NIHA). As we built more and more of these websites, we realized that the industry could benefit from a professionally built, cloud-based service for building sports websites.
In late 2010, the idea of HockeyShift was conceived. It would be a reasonably priced, full-featured and awesome looking website platform for the hockey industry. We quickly realized that this same concept could be adopted in a large number of sports.
We launched HockeyShift to the public in early 2012. Some of our very first clients were 2Hot4Ice (now known as TORHS 2Hot4Ice), North America Roller Hockey Championships (NARCh) and the Langley Hockey House. Acquiring these clients provided us with great penetration into the industry. During the remainder of 2012 we continued to expand our client base, improve our service and reach more fans. We also started getting some serious interest within the Lacrosse industry and decided to launch LacrosseShift. Interest in Lacrosse grew and continues to grow rapidly.

2013 saw the expansion of our platform into the Football industry and FootballShift was launched. We also started gaining interest from the Soccer industry near the end of the year.
SoccerShift and BaseballShift were launched and started gaining traction. We made a big splash in the hockey and lacrosse industries by releasing HockeyShift Stats and LacrosseShift Stats. All of the corporate branding has been completely redone. The planning and design of our latest endeavor was well underway – a registration system.
Our HockeyShift Player App was released in early 2015. We also built and released myHockeyShift for attendance tracking and to assist with player registrations. Our registration system was in beta testing in the 4th quarter. We laid out plans to create a more seamless ecosystem between all services providing clients with a single login system.
